Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our experience with your agency on our trip to Prague. Vida Neuwirthova was our guide to Terezinstat. She was a delight to spend time with. In addition she went above and beyond to help us with a medical situation.
We would not hestiate to recommend Vida and Legacy tours to all our friends and our travel agent.
Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience.
We would like to be able to send a something to Vida. Could you please send your address to us?

Dear Sean:
We received the cordial greetings from Ljuba and we send you our best wishes in turn.
We hope and pray for a happy, healthy, peaceful and productive shana tova for all of the
people of Israel throughout the world.
We also want to thank you again for your efficient handling of our trip to Terezin. It was
a most positive experience even given the inevitable sadness of the subject. The arrangements worked out as planned. Our guide was knowlegeable, helpful and flexible.
Her vast store of information added greatly to our visit.
Thanks again and all good wishes for continued success in your endeavors.

Our tour with Vida was a highlight of our five days in Prague. Her life story is every bit as interesting as the physical buildings and is a vital part of the experience of witnessing past and present Jewish life in Prague. I am spreading the word in Memphis and beyond.

Hi Luba,
Howard and I are still talking about our trip, and the very special tour to Terezin with
you and Leonid. (We're sure he's doing quite well as adriver by now.) Thought you might
like to see the photos Howard took.Feel free to use them if you wish.
We have already
recommended you to several people from Chicago who will be traveling to Prague in the
next few months. Hopefully they will contact you for a tour, and then be able to give
you our best regards in person.
Thank you again for a memorable afternoon.

Luba:
Thanks for this info.
We are in Budapest now.We loved Prague and had a very good time there. We thought
your tour was terrific and enjoyed meeting you and your sister.Thank you very much
for setting up the day with Pavel Batel (have I spelled his name correctly?).He was terrific!
He seems to know a lot and certainly knows how to get around. He took us to the Small Fortress
and to the Large Fortress and then drove through the countryside. He chose a very good restaurant
for lunch where we ate typical Czech food - a very good
choice. He just was as nice as could be
and we will definitely recommend him to friends who might need a driver in Prague. It is wonderful
that he is on your staff.
So thank you for everything.

Dear Manager Poleva,
I have arrived back home, but I had to take time out to thank your for a memorable experience
in your company's tour of Terezin on April 21, 2006. It was the first time my 13-year-old niece
had traveled abroad, and I hoped that all of her experiences would be pleasant.
Thanks to your
staff member, Paul, she learned not only about Terezin, but also about many other aspects of the
Czech culture.Paul was a consummate professional. He arrived promptly and immediately made us feel
welcome. His knowledge of Czech history provided an amazing complement to our Terezin trip, and he
patiently answered all of the questions we directed to him with a warmth and
grace.To have a staff
member who is so intelligent, professional, mannerly, warm and patient is an absolute attribute to
your organization.
Thank you for such a memorable experience for both my niece and myself.
I will be recommending your tour to all of my friends who have upcoming trip to Prague.
With warmest regards,
Joan Agnew

Dear Luba,
We've been home for a while, but we wanted to be sure to thank you for the
great day of sightseeing and the time and care you took with us. Your
knowledge is impressive and it was a pleasure being together with you. You
made our first stay in Prague very special and we look forward to coming
back.
As promised, we're sending along some pictures. Meanwhile, take care Luba,
and we hope to see you again in the near future. Of course, if you plan to
visit Los Angeles, please let us know and try to keep a little time open, if
you like, so that we may get together here.

Dear Sir/Madam
We felt we must write to you and let you know about our trip to Terezin last Friday.
Not only did the mini bus turn up on time at our hotel, your guide Vida was excellent.
She has a wonderful personality and was extremely informative and very knowledgable.
She managed to organise for us also as a bonus a visit to the synagogue which had been
hidden for years - a real gem! We knew this trip would not be an easy one for us,
but with Vida's guidance this visit will stay in our memories
forever. Vida is a
wonderful asset to your organisation and would thoroughly recommend your company to anyone
we know visiting Prague - especially Vida.
Please send her our best regards and our extreme thanks.
With our warmest wishes

Dear Luba,Eimear,Vida, Paula and all the office staff,
Well, we have now returned to Jerusalem after a very successful four days+ in the Czech Republic.
I thank you all for making it such a memorable trip. The group all said "where shall we go next?" so I hope to plan a trip to Budapest and some surrounding areas for next May.
Perhaps you will have some advice for me when you are less busy with the summer tourists. I have never been to Hungary. I know that you organize trips to Hungary from Prague so I am hoping that you have an office there and that we can continue our successful association.
Meanwhile I wish you all a good summer and since Rosh Hashanah is in a month also a "Happy New Year".
Luba, my sister apologized for not seeing you and sends you her very best wishes.
Warm wishes to you all
Sheila

Dear Luba;
We recently returned from our European trip, which included 3 days in your wonderful city of Prague. Our positive experience in Prague was exemplified by your company’s handling of all our details including tours and transfers to and from the airport. We found your guides to be most professional and knowledgeable. They covered all the relevant sites of Prague, the Jewish quarter and Terezin (Theresienstadt) the former ghetto and concentration camp.
I must single out Vida as being one of the most informed tour guides we have ever encountered in all of our extensive travel. She was able to bring to life the unfortunate experiences prisoners had to go through while in captivity at Theresienstadt, as well as the history of the Jews in Prague.
We thank you once again for the warmth and professional way we were taken care of before and during our stay in Prague.
Shalom,

Hi Luba,
Just wanted to let you that we all arrived safely home. Mom, Mitch, Hilary
and I made it to Pa. and I got home to Baltimore yesterday. My men were all
happy to see me - they have been eating frozen food all week. (They did thaw
it first!)
Thank you so much for being such a wonderful guide.
You did a great job -
I loved listening to you.

Hello,
I recently attended a tour with the guide Zita, around the Jewish quarter,
on Sunday 4th April in Prague. My wife and I had to leave before the tours
had finished so didn't have the opportunity to thank the guide for a clear
and informative tour. I am currently studying with the Open University,
World Religions and naturally Judaism is one of the main religions we are
studying. The tour and explanation did much to answer many question
regarding the rites and the pieces used. So many thanks, it was much better
than just reading about the subject.
Regards
Chris
Dear Luba and staff,
Now that our suitcases are back in the closet and the photos have been
developed, it seems to be the perfect time to write to you this letter
of commendation.
Our trip was in the planning with your office for eight months, and we
appreciate the hard work (and patience) you and Pavel extended us as we
were designing the itinerary.
Henryk, our guide in Poland, was a fine recommendation! His vast
knowledge, combined with his elegant and humorous personality, made that
portion of the trip invaluable. Please extend these words to him, and
feel free to use them as our recommendation for his professional
guidance, anytime!
Then we arrived in Prague (thank you, Henryk, for enduring the heavy fog
on the long driving round trip!) and met you, Luba - what a delight!
What a guide! What a new friend!
As we are looking forward to our next trip, we will make sure to be in
touch with you for our touring needs. Additionally, feel free to give
our email address/phone number as a reference for Precious Legacy Tours.

Now that I have returned from the Gallaudet University trip
to Eastern Europe, I wanted to tell you how much we
appreciated the services of our Tour Director, Dr. Luba
Poleva of Precious Legacy Tours, Prague. Without any doubt, I
can say that everyone in our group was delighted with
Luba’s guidance and assistance. Like any tour, we
experienced some difficulties and disappointments but Luba
was always there to help out and provide advice.
Whenever I travel to Eastern Europe in future, Dr. Poleva
will be the first person I contact. Her knowledge of the
countries and cultures is first rate. I would recommend her
to anyone who plans to travel to Eastern Europe or
alternatively is interested in Jewish Heritage.
In addition, Luba is a lovely person with a sweet
disposition. As she says, travelers initially are clients
but soon become friends. I am fortunate to count Dr. Poleva
as a new friend.
Thank you,

Dear
Luba,
I have just returned to my office from my wonderful visit to
Prague and St. Petersburg, and wanted to tell you how
much your guides added to the enjoyment of our trip. Both
Pavel and Vida are so well informed and pleasant to know.
Not only are they professional, but they added a great deal
to becoming acquainted with the current situation in Prague
especially for Jews. I think that this is an exciting
time to be living in Prague because of all the rapid changes
in so many aspects of life.
I will make sure to give my colleagues at HUC-JIR a full
report of my touring activities!
Many thanks for all your assistance, I will enthusiastically
recommend your firm to all my friends. My best, Eve Starkman
Dear
Luba:
We wanted to let you know that we are now safe back home in
Colorado. You
and your organization, Precious Legacy Tours, made our
visit to Prague so
much more interesting and entertaining. We certainly admire
your ability to
keep everyone happy. And all the people in your company
including
especially Nina and Paula, were extremely solicitous,
helpful and friendly.
Please let Vida know we particularly appreciated her
guidance, knowledge and
expertise and we send her our best wishes. Maybe one day
we'll get the
chance to see you all again.
Best and kindest regards,

Dr. Ljuba
Poleva,
Last Thursday four of us took a private "Precious
Legacy" tour to Terezin. I want to let you know that
the service provided was exceptionally good. The driver was
considerate courteous and drove very carefully. Pavel - our
guide - was extraordinarily knowledgeable and did everything
possible to enhance our trip. Everything was well-organized
and punctual. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped
off at the airport which was very convenient. Although the
subject matter of the tour was very somber and serious, we
really benefited enormously from the trip and from Pavel's
knowledge.
I would also like to commend your office staff who, on short
notice, put together a package that really suited us.
Your run a good business with well qualified staff who are
customer-oriented. Congratulations. I'll tell all my friends
where to go for tours when they visit Prague.
David Griller
P.S. Should Pavel ever visit Canada, I hope that he
will visit us.
Dear
Luba, Thank you for everything!
Everything was fabulous from the very beginning. We got
home very late on Saturday night and spent Sunday with our
daughter enjoying our memories. Today I began telling
everyone about you and your wonderful company and staff.
Tomorrow I am having a luncheon for the National Council of
Jewish Women in my home and I will continue to be your good
will ambassador. My photographs will be ready on
Wednesday and hopefully the one of us turned out good enough
to be on your wall. It was a pleasure meeting you and
we hope to be a good hostess to you when you visit us soon.
Please keep in touch. Sincerely, Judy and Mark.
Please give our regards to Tony and Vida. I will see
Ellen Lynette next week and give her the book then.
Luba,
We want to thank you for helping to make our trip so
wonderful. Both you
and your guides really added to our experience and our
appreciation of
Prague.
Last night I was at a party and met friends that I had not
seen for a while.
I told them about my trip and they asked me if I met Luba.
It is Donald

is a small

Hope you are all well.

Dear Friends:
Forgive my writing you in English. No doubt you are used to
the lack of our
American proficiency in Czech.
I am an professor of modern history in Washington, who--with
my wife--had the
great and glorious pleasure of taking your full tour several
weeks ago,
specifically on August 5. Our tour guide gave her name only
as Paula, but I
can better identify her as a teacher of English and of Czech
literature in one
of your Prague gymnasia. I can identify her best of all,
however, by stating
that she was the most marvelously knowledgeable tour guide
I have ever had in
any city on any subject in all the many years I have been
traveling. Indeed,
I intend to tell my friend Mark Talisman how impressed I
was.
Madame Paula made reference to the great poet Apollinaire,
and his observation
on the Jewish cemetery. To my regret, I did not take notes
on the quotation,
nor do I quite recall the context. Could I possibly trouble
Madame Paula to
let me have this information--if she could possibly spare
the time? If e-mail
is not convenient for her, she could simply write me:
Howard M. Sachar
Department of History
George Washington University
Washington D.C. 20052
Either way, I should be deeply in her debt.
With my warm appreciations to her--and to you, for the
splendid work you are
doing.
Cordially,
Howard Sachar
We are now back in Israel and I really want to thank
you for your services .
You contributed immensely for the success of our surprise
party.
Many thanks also to the all team (specially to Nina) who
put up with all my requests gracefully.
We shall give a warm recommendation to our friends visiting
Prague to use your services.
Many thanks again.

Luba,
Thank you for helping to make my son's trip so memorable. I
knew you would
set him up with excellent guides. I wish I could get
back there and spend a
few weeks around Prague and some of the small villages. So
much history to
see.
I hope you are well. Life is not easy for Jews around the
world with so much
anti-Semitism. I never thought this would happen in my life
time! We all
pray and work towards peace.
Regards to you and your family.

Dear Luba,
Hope you remember the Kretchmar 's from Los Altos

They would like to

Everyone who has toured with your Precious Legacy Tours

DEAR
VIDA,
JUST A NOTE TO THANK YOU AND TONY FOR YOUR TOUR TO TEREZIN
LAST WEEK.
WE APPRECIATED THE SPEED AT WHICH YOU PUT US TOGETHER WITH
THE DRIVER AND THE FACT THAT YOU TOOK US AND TOOK THE TIME
OUT OF YOUR SCHEDULE THAT DAY AT SUCH SHORT NOTICE.
THE INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE THROUGH OUT THE CITY...THE
MUSEUMS, THE HIDDEN SYNAGOGUE, THE CEMETARYS GAVE US A
CHILLING OVERSITE. THE EXPERIENCE IMPACTED BOTH OF US AND
THE IMAGES STILL REMAIN AND WILL FOR A LONG TIME TO COME.
WE CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SHARING YOUR PERSONAL
INFORMATION...BOTH YOU AND TONY...IT MAKES OUR VOYAGE MORE
PERSONAL. WE ARE ALL THE SAME....HUMAN BEINGS WANTING
THE BEST FOR OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR FUTURE. ITS SUCH A
TRAGEDY THAT THE CHILDREN OF TEREZIN AND ALL THE CHILDREN
WHO LOST THEIR PRECIOUS LIVES DIDNT GET THAT OPPORTUNITY.
ITS A TRAGEDY FOR ALL THE JEWS AND OTHERS AS WELL WHO ALSO
SUFFERED AT THE HANDS OF HITLER, AND THOSE OF US BORN HERE
AND FREE HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO NEVER LET THE
GENERATIONS AFTER US FORGET THE HORROR OF THAT TIME.
MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY BE WELL AND SAFE. OUR BEST REGARDS
TO TONY. I HAVE YOUR CARDS AND WILL GLADLY RECOMMEND THE
AGENCY TO ANYONE WHO IS TRAVELING THAT WAY.
THANKS AGAIN,
MERLE AND MARTY JACOBSON
Dear
Luba,
We
got back home on Sunday night after a long day of flying and
traveling. The trip was exciting and interesting.
We enjoyed our visits to the various schools, meetings with
various people, and the sights of the city. I particularly
enjoyed my dinner with the Chief Rabbi of Hungary as he was
very charming and interesting. The kids were very
enthusiastic about meeting him as well. We also enjoyed our
breakfast with the Israeli Consul to Hungary.
Thank you for the scarf and glasses. They will always help
us remember our trip and friendship.
Wishes for a good Passover. Also, remember to keep me
informed about Kati's and your plans for the summer. We rent
a small apartment at the seashore, Margate, and would love
to have you visit.
Marlyn
Dear Nina,
During my recent vacation to Europe, one of the cities that
I visited was Prague. While in Prague on October 12, 2001,
I requested a private tour of the Jewish Section of
Prague and was fortunate enough to receive your services as
my personal tour guide. I had private Tours in Warsaw
and Krakow and found both of those guides to be very
knowledgeable. However, I must say that you were
extraordinary.
Your knowledge, demeanor, kindness and articulation of all
the subject matter was of a superior nature.
If I travel to Prague again (and I hope that I can revisit
that wonderful city soon) I would like to use your services
again and take another tour. Conversely, if you ever
have the opportunity to visit the United States, I would
like to have the pleasure to be your guide through areas
that I am most familiar with.
Thank you again for a most memorable tour and hope that we
may meet again in the near future.

Hello
Luba,
We just arrived back in the US on Saturday. I was so delighted
to finally
meet you. I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful
tours that you
arranged for us. Please tell Paula and Peter that they were
excellent
guides.
I have a favor to ask of you. I am looking for a Mogen David
with the
"hat" in the center to wear on a chain. Do you
know where I can find one
or who I can contact. In addition, I wanted to purchase a
little Golem
but wasn't able to purchase that either. Do you think they
would send it
to me and charge my VISA card? Please let me know how I can
obtain these
items.
If you come to Los Angeles, please let me know. I would be
happy to show you around.
Kind regards,
Seleste Sakato
Dear Luba and all,
Just got this upon my return. Thank you so much for your
wonderful and kind
attention to us during our visit! You helped make our stay
so special. I
hope you will hear from Leah to set up a couple of more
tutoring sessions as
I know she enjoys meeting with your daughter. She has
midterms, then Spain
for spring break so hopefully, she will get in touch. Our
travels
home went very smoothly, though it was a long day. Now I am
back to busy
work! I will be happy to share info about your wonderful
guiding services
with all I can who are heading your way. Thanks again
for everything!
Fondly, Trudy and Art

Dear Ljuba,
On behalf of our children, and myself, thank you for a
really wonderful day. The children loved Prague and their
guide (Vida) and came back very excited by the experience. I
shall certainly recommend your excellent services to all
prospective visitors to your unique and beautiful city.
Sincerely yours,

Hi
Luba, we are back from all our travels and wanted
to thank you for your
kindness when we were there. Our visit to Terezin was
memorable but not as
good as you would have shared with what Stan and Susan have
told us about
your wealth of knowledge. We have wondered about your
daughter and her
getting to the states for her camp experience. Hope that she
found a flight
and is here and enjoying every minute. Remember, if we can
help in any way
just let us know.
We have such great memories of Prague, we walked our feet
off and discovered
so much---the city is so accessible and easy to manage and
so beautiful, a
fairyland of architecture. Besides services at the
Spanish Synagogue, we went
back there for a concert and met the rabbi who is permanent
and from Chicago,
making us feel hopeful about the future of the Jewish
community in Prague.
We finally saw Stan and Susan and gave them your package and
they were
delighted. You will be hearing from them. They just left for
a trip to the
southwest and all our national parks. They showed us the
wedding albumn-a
very happy and exciting event and they are beaming through
it all.
Hope your group from Switzerland was a successful experience
and maybe
someday we can show you around NYC! Sincerely, Renee
