Daily Public Tours, Check availability and buy tickets online, Advance purchase required. Tours sell out quickly.

Group tours do not operate off-season (in the winter months) unless you have 10 people or more in your group.  During these months we only offer private tours, scheduled upon request.

All of our tours are unique.  Each tour visits different places.  With the booking of each next tour, you will see completely different sites.

Please book the tour ahead of time.  Once your reservation is confirmed, please understand that if you are not going to attend, we require 24 hours notice.  Less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will cost a 20% cancellation fee.  This fee is calculated as 20% of the total services being cancelled.

We would appreciate it if you let us know in what hotel you are staying in Prague, in case we need to get in touch with you.

No prepayment is necessary.  Please provide credit card details as a security against last-minute cancellations.  For payment of services rendered, you may have us charge your credit card shortly beforehand, or you may settle your bill in person at our office in the Jewish Quarter.

The meeting point for the regular group tours is our office in the Old Jewish Quarter.  Our office is in a shared office building across the street from a KFC restaurant.  You will not see a sign outside, but you will see the name “Precious Legacy Tours” beside our doorbell.  We will depart for your tour from our office.

Please be so kind as to arrive at the office about 5-7 min. early, to allow time for purchasing the tickets from our representative.

Payment of all group tours is to be made in cash before the start of the tour (Czech crown, Euros, and American dollars are accepted.)  There are many bank machines in the area, including one downstairs from our office.  Please understand that we cannot accept personal checks or traveler’s checks, as these not accepted by any banks in the Czech Republic.

You must have a confirmation voucher in hand and present it to the guide at the time of meeting.  You will receive the voucher at the time of payment.

Terezin (Theresienstadt) is part of a region that was home to thousand-year-old Jewish communities before 1941, when the people were deported through the ghetto and concentration camp at Terezin to death camps in Auschwitz, Treblinka, and others.  Terezin must be seen in order to understand the complicated history surrounding it, as a work camp designed to mislead those who wished to investigate the Nazi’s concentration camps.   See the Terezin Ghetto Museum and the Gestapo prison to learn through precious artifacts, children’s drawings, poetry, and other surviving rarities, about the people who were kept at Terezin.  These relics provide a voice for the people, and eloquently speak for those who did not survive.  The Crematorium and other memorials are also included.
