FAQ

Q: What language are your tours held in?

A: Our group tours are all in English. We can run private tours in English, Russian, Czech and German. We can also arrange tours in French, Spanish or Hebrew, but this is subject to the availability of our guides.

Q: Do we need to reserve tours in advance?

A: All of our private tours must be arranged at least one day in advance. It’s not necessary to reserve our group tours, with the exception of Terezin, as we need to arrange enough transportation to the camp. If there is nobody booked for our group tours in advance, however, they don’t run – so it’s best to reserve all of your tours.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: We don’t ask for deposits in advance, but we do take credit card details to reserve our tours. We don’t charge your card in advance, we will only use it to cover our costs in the case of last-minute cancellations.

Q: Are all admission fees included in your prices?

A: For our private tours, you have to pay admission fees separately. This is so you can have the most control over your tour, and needn’t pay to see things outside your interest. For group tours, all admission fees are included provided we have a minimum of three people taking part in the tour. For just two people, admission fees are separate.

Q: How do I reserve my tour?

A: Either through our online secure booking form; by phone (+420 222 321 951 or +420 222 321 954) or by dropping into our office. The address is Kaprova 13, and it’s just next to the Old Town Square.

Q: How do I pay for my tour?

A: For private tours, we accept payment either by credit card (all major cards) or cash (Czech crowns, US dollars or Euros). For our group tours, we only take payment in cash.

Q: Where does my tour start?

A: All our group tours start outside our office at Kaprova 13. Private tours can start at your hotel, or wherever else you’d rather we met you (pickups from outside Prague will, however, cost extra).

Q: How busy are your group tours?

A: The size of our tours varies from day to day, and we can never guarantee in advance which tours will and won’t be busy, but we usually take groups of less than 8.

Q: Do your tours run every day?

A: Our tours are usually available every day, with the exception of Saturdays and Jewish holidays. We will still run some of our tours on those days, but the Jewish Quarter tour isn’t available as the Museum will be closed.
